Unemployment

I’ve been among the many who have become unemployed. No sir don’t like it, don’t like it one bit. The only upside to it is the fact that it’s given me time to do more photography, when I’m not looking for work that is. Looking for work can be a full time job. I’ve also noticed that when there is this many people who are unemployed that it makes things a lot harder to find a job. Everyone is competing for the same jobs. And some jobs that I would say I’m perfect for are going to people that normally wouldn’t take such a job. How do you compete with people who have twice the education and experience who are asking for the same amount of money or less? I’ve been really flexible on what I’ve been willing to except for pay. I would like to stay in the IT field. But I don’t know if I can, it’s over saturated or close to it. So it leaves me with two options, either change to a different field or hang in there and pray something opens up. It’s been 4 months and I’ve applied for several positions. Haven’t heard back from hardly any or them. And the ones who have contacted me have done so with not so good news. So I shall keep sending out resumes and networking. With a little luck, ok maybe a lot of luck something will come my way. Anyone with any ideas I’m open for suggestions. And to all of those people in the same boat as I am, I wish you all good luck.
